Today in Visual Comm, our lecturer told us about global warming and also about The Inconvenient Truth (a video by Al Gore?).

From a soft knock, knocking on people's humanity, it's now getting louder and louder. It's time for us to wake up from our fantasy in this materialistic world.

What was predicted to happen in 50 years, the melting of the iceberg in the Arctic and submerging 1000 islands is already happening and it's happening 30 years in advance. We can't just stop and stare at what is going very wrong in this world anymore. The climate has changed, diseases mutating, what's next?

Our lecturer told us, "Why study? There's no more future."

So true.

We cant just stand there and live all we want anymore. Play our little parts to save the world. Even if the world really goes bizarre in the times to come, at least u'll know that u've done something about it.
